Dawn J. Geluso worked as a copy editor and page designer on the desks of daily newspapers for 10 years before starting with Packman & Associates.
Clients have said her focus on detail and commitment to the product are key reasons they turn to her. Materials she will edit and/or design include internal and external business communications (pamphlets, letters, training manuals, flyers, advertisements, and posters), books, magazines, articles, and educational and research reports. Her clients include Wizards of the Coast and the Skagit Valley Herald.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in creative writing from Pepperdine University, she spent the next decade practicing her editing skills under daily deadline pressure. In her off hours, she studied a variety of grammar and style books to further sharpen her skills. She can edit in AP, Chicago, and MLA styles. She is familiar with Gregg’s as well.
She lives in Bakersfield, Calif., with her husband, James, and son, Eli.
