About Sharon Nichols:

Sharon Nichols has 15 years experience helping people in leadership development, communication effectiveness, and work performance satisfaction. She asks clients the critical questions that help them identify, clarify and achieve performance goals in alignment with their values. Her blend of candor and empathy encourages self responsible, energized, and high performing contributors. Sharon has a particular interest in supporting introverts in the workplace. She developed a program and has led sessions on strategies for introverts to have a stronger presence at work.

She also works with Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business where she is an instructor and communication coach with the Management Communication Program. She leads workshops and provides individual coaching to the M.B.A.'s, Ph.D.'s, staff and faculty on topics ranging from effective presentations, media training, team presentations, interviewing, persuasion, answering questions credibly, and interpersonal communication.

Sharon earned a Master’s degree in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California and received her BS in Behavioral Sciences from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is certified to interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Sharon and her husband Scott live in Palo Alto, CA where they enjoy reading, travel, exploring the many great Bay Area restaurants, slowing down in their garden, an occasional tandem bike ride, and being a part of The River Church Community in San Jose.
